Larry Nance Jr. Earns All-Mountain West Honors
Despite missing the last five games of the 2014 season with a knee injury, Wyoming junior forward Larry Nance Jr. was named First Team All-Mountain West and to the league's All-Defensive Team today by MW head coaches and a select media panel.
Sobey Lifts Cowboys to Border War Win
The second Border War was a war of attrition for the Wyoming Cowboys. They survived foul trouble and a big second half by Colorado State to beat the Rams, 83-75, Saturday in Laramie. Senior Nathan Sobey scored a career-high 33 points on Senior Day.
Aggies Sour Cowgirls Home Finale, 84-80
Utah State rallied from a five-point deficit with 2:47 to play, and spoiled the Wyoming Cowgirls last home game Tuesday night in Laramie. The Aggies pulled out an 84-80 victory to sweep the regular season series from UW.
A Thank You and Good-bye for the Cowgirls
Emotions will be running high tonight at the Arena-Auditorium in Laramie, as the Wyoming Cowgirls play their home finale against Utah State. It will be a chance for seniors Kaylee Hoffman, Chelan Landry and Fallon Lewis to say thank you and for fans to say good-bye.
