The state's senior senator says one issue is whether the Democrats who control the senate and the presidency will move to end tax breaks for businesses involved in gas development. Governor Matt Mead says one way for the state to avoid federal over-regulation on issues like greenhouse gases is for the state to develop it's own regulations.
