Cheyenne Mayor Rick Kaysen says he's hearing a lot of questions about Cheyenne from companies considering doing business here. Microsoft announced last week that it is locating a data center in the capital city, which is expected to add 40 well-paying jobs to the local economy.

Cheyenne city employees shouldn't expect to see any salary increases when the new city budget takes effect July1, according to Mayor Rick Kaysen. The mayor says Governor Matt Mead and the state legislature have made it clear they don't want state money for municipalities to go for raises or the hiring of new employees.
