Dr. Joanne Steane, director of the UW Student Health Service, the university and the Wyoming Department of Health are currently seeking out those who have had close personal contact with the student so they can be offered preventative treatment with antibiotics.
Kaylean Bunn was sentenced to three years of supervised probation with an underlying sentence of five to seven years in prison which was suspended at sentencing. If Bunn violates the terms of her probation, her probation will be revoked and she will serve the time in prison.
Adopt a Nonprofit is being coordinated by Made Safe in Wyoming, a Laramie-based nonprofit organization that aims to help businesses and organizations become cyber secure. Class will provide free technology services to the Laramie Soup Kitchen, in the form of security and database services.
