Drug Take Back Day Saturday

The Laramie County Sheriff's Department will be participating in National Prescription Drug Take Back Day on Saturday, according to spokesman Gerry Luce. He says the event is designed to allow for the disposal of the drugs in an environmentally safe manner. It also keeps the drugs out of the hands of people who may abuse them.

Investigators Looking for Gun Owner

The Laramie County Sheriff's Department and the Federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms are trying to locate the owner of a .25 caliber handgun that is believed to have been involved in the fatal shooting of 8 year old Gage McClellan. Investigators believe the shooting was accidental, but have not been able so far to determine the owner of the gun.
