Cheyenne Police:Report Fireworks In City

A spokesman for the Cheyenne Police Department is asking people to report anyone who uses fireworks within the city limits so they can be issued a citation.

Officer Dan Long is reminding city residents that the use, sale or possession of fireworks is illegal within the city of Cheyenne, and is asking for public help in battling fireworks violations

700 Acre Blaze Highlights Fire Danger

A 700 acre grass fire that threatened homes and ranches in the Old Yellowstone Road area of Laramie County Saturday shows how serious the fire danger in the county is right now, according to Laramie County Fire District 2 spokesman Lew Simpson.
