Cow Camp Fire

As of Sunday evening, the Cow Camp Fire is now at 8,492 acres and containment is now at 90 percent. 320 personnel are now on-hand at the incident.  Crews have begun to be demobilized and redirected from the fire to others in the area...

The Cow Camp fire is now at 6,487 acres and containment is  at 15-percent. The f ire has burned National Forest, State of Wyoming and private lands. The number of people battling the blaze is now at 333. Resources include nine hand crews, 20 engines, one Type I helicopter, two Type III helicopters...

Burning in grass, brush and mixed conifer, the Cow Camp Fire in North Albany County continues to grow and is now estimated at over 3,500 acres. It continues to be driven by swirling winds, dry fuels and above average temperatures.
