The grim truth is that if Cain does indeed rise to the top and receive his party’s nomination, he will be the ultimate target of authentic and unrelenting racism and hate, which is the fate of any, regardless of ethnicity, who dare to thwart the liberal agenda. An objective look at events transpiring around the nation suggest that the days of boisterous but civil political contests are coming to an end.

Unfortunately for the Republican contenders and America in general, the net result of the debate was to make Perry’s detractors look small. Their willingness to resort to the standard liberal media tactics and double standards shows an ominous alignment with current-day “ruling class” thinking from inside the Beltway that is fundamentally at odds with Heartland America.

As to the shameless politicization of September 11, perhaps Krugman has forgotten that it was those on his end of the political spectrum who openly lamented that the al Qaeda attacks had not occurred during the Clinton years, since that would have afforded an unparalleled opportunity to display his “greatness.” And their perverse sentiments are certainly not without precedent.

So, once again, in an election season in which such matters can serve to sharply define the contrast between the morally bankrupt left and the traditional morality of the right, conservative America is being told to abandon them until some mythical “later date” when it will suddenly and inexplicably become expedient to address them.

The Washington elite, along with their media minions, may have reason to despise Perry, and may rant endlessly about what they claim to be his deficiencies. But the mood of the nation is not what they perceive it to be within their cloistered circles. The more Perry is proven to be unsuited to their self-serving power structure, the more likely it appears that he will uphold and advance the founding principles and values of Real America.

In an April 2011 interview, he ominously warned MSNBC host Chris Matthews of GOP members who oppose the homosexual agenda and advocate traditional morality.

In an attempt to appear principled and resolved, Mitch McConnell contended as recently as July 12 that “As long as this president is in the Oval Office, a real solution is attainable.” Yet in light of the realities of the debt limit increase subsequently supported by himself and Speaker Boehner, abetted by their insipid and purely symbolic plans to reduce spending… someday, it is obvious that no fix is possible as long as the current Republican “leadership” or their accommodating minions remain in the Congress.

Thus, like the self-consumed addict, California has every intention of maintaining its present course, while parasitically consuming America’s resources in the process. And to an unimaginable degree, their kindred at the federal level are willing to accommodate them. Barack Obama’s 2009 “Stimulus” spending measure, in which the federal government squandered $850 billion, was ostensibly intended to jump start the U.S. economy.

The corruption in Atlanta was not limited to individual teachers and administrators who willingly participated in the cheating, nor even the de facto collaboration of those who allowed themselves to be cowed into silence. Rather, it is a microcosm of the entire government education monstrosity, and more specifically how that system, over the years, has largely forsaken its original intent of teaching children. Like every other statist creation, it has degenerated into a pipeline for channeling enormous sums of money taken from public coffers into the hands of overwhelmingly liberal special interests.
