Cheyenne Mayor Rick Kaysen says the city may end up having to pay refunds to Laramie County residents who were incorrectly charged a two percent franchise fee by Cheyenne Light, Fuel and Power.

The state Office of Consumer Advocate has reached an agreement with Cheyenne, Light, Fuel and Power and it's parent company, Black Hills Power, on a proposal to build a new power plant in Laramie County.

Cheyenne Light, Fuel and Power customers will pay a little more for electricity and gas effective July 1. The utility announced on Wednesday that the Wyoming Public Service Commissi0n had approved the increases, which the utility says is needed to pay for infrastructure improvements...

Cheyenne Light, Fuel and Power has begun a pilot project which includes integrating two Chevrolet Volt electric vehicles into its fleet.
