There is nothing like jogging, biking or just taking a nice stroll on the Cheyenne Greeenway. However, that's not to say you won't see some entertaining things on the path.
Cheyenne Mayor Rick Kaysen says a project linking Holliday Park with the Cheyenne Greenway is moving ahead as planned.
The mayor says a tunnel linking the park and greenway has already been completed and was finished over a weekend with minimal disruption to the surrounding area...
Construction work begins Monday, August 6th on the Holliday Park Greenway Connector Project at the intersection of East Lincolnway and Dunn Avenue in Cheyenne.
Cheyenne Parks and Recreation Department spokesman Jeff Wiggins says there are four major projects planned for the Cheyenne Greenway this summer. He says the first is completion of Arp Elementary pathway project, which will run from Fox Farm Road to Crow Creek and will link the Arp Elementary School and Allison Draw Greenway segments to the rest of the system.
Spring into Green this Saturday, June 11, 2011 at Cheyenne's Cahill Park. The event is sponsored by the Cheyenne Greenway Foundation to help raise funds for needs and area beautification that is not funded by the 6th penny tax. The event kicks off 12pm noon, however registration begins at 11am. This is fun for the whole family as well as helping to improve the greenway. You can register online at
