This year, the Aurora Borealis is extra vivid and spectacular due to the largest solar flare in six years.

Even scientists in Finland, where they see them regularly, have been impressed.

If we're lucky, maybe we'll even be able to catch a glimpse of the phenomenon on one of the clear nights here in Wyoming.
