YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK, Wyo. (AP) — All watercraft entering Yellowstone National Park's lakes must first pass an inspection for invasive species.

National Park Service staff will also conduct daily inspections for all boats that launch from Bridge Bay, Grant Village and Lewis Lake boat ramps

The Wyoming Game and Fish Department will once again be offering watercraft and equipment inspection and decontamination training for Aquatic Invasive Species (AIS) during May and June at various locations around the state.

Governor Matt Mead signed the Education Accountability Bill Wednesday. Doug Randall has the details. Boaters are reminded that along with registration of boats for the upcoming boating season, watercraft using Wyoming waters must have an Aquatic Invasive Species (AIS) decal.
