6th penny sales tax ballot

Cheyenne Mayor Rick Kaysen says he would still like to see a new city recreation center built in Cheyenne at some point, although he says the voters have clearly said they don't want to use sixth penny sales tax revenues to build it.

Cheyenne Police officials say their current building on Capitol Avenue is plagued by leaking roofs, a crumbling basic structure, serious electrical issues, undrinkable water and a long list of other issues to the point where it is costing taxpayers millions of dollars and posing a threat to public safety.
