Cheyenne Police say a package that was reported as being suspicious Tuesday evening turned out to contain only gumdrops.

Officers were called to the 2600 block of Warren shortly before 6 pm when a package was found on a retaining wall between two houses, according to spokesman Officer Dan Long. The package was considered suspicious because it lacked identifying markings and it's history was unknown. Police blocked off Warren Avenue at 25th street for about two hours before they determined the parcel was harmless.
