Suspect In Deadly Evansville Shooting Due In Court

The suspect in a fatal shooting in Evansville is expected to appear in a Natrona County Courtroom Friday afternoon. It’s not known what charges may be filed against the man, who’s identity has not been made public.

Forty-one-year-old Todd Callies was killed by gunfire early Thursday morning at Taylor’s Sports Bar in Evansville. Natrona County Coroner Connie Jacobsen’s office says an autopsy is scheduled for Friday.

Evansville Police are refusing to comment on the incident, calling it an “open investigation.” The Evansville Police Department is referring all calls to the Natrona County Attorney’s Office.
