Amy Surdam has been tabbed to lead the Cheyenne Downtown Development Authority, effective June 15th.

Surdam is President of the Board of Directors of the Children's Museum of Cheyenne, which is expected to open in the area widely known as "the hole" on West Lincolnway. She has lived in Cheyenne since her family moved here when she was 11 years. old.

Surdam's hiring as Executive Director of the DDA concludes a national search in which 25 candidates were considered.

She holds BS and Master's degrees from the University of Wyoming. Surdam will be interviewed by Gary Freeman on KGAB radio Monday morning at 8:10.
