Cheyenne's annual ''Superday"  for 2013 is scheduled for June 22 from 10am until 5 pm at Frontier Park, according to Cheyenne Assistant Parks and Recreation Director Todd Feezer.

Once again this year Superday is co-sponsored by Holly Frontier, and Feezer says with the company's support the event would not be possible. This year's Superday events include many returning favorites such as the Tour De Prairie bicycle race, a 5k run, volleyball tournament, inc addition to various rides, booths and other activities, many of which are free.

Feezer says one new event this year will rides on a minature steam locomotive through Frontier Park. Superday is a long-time Cheyenne tradition reaching back over 30 years according to Feezer. He says the event is held annually to kick off July  as National Parks and Recreation Month.
