Cheyenne Parks and Recreation Department spokesman Jeff Wiggins says there are four major projects planned for the Cheyenne Greenway this summer. He says the first is completion of Arp Elementary pathway project, which will run from Fox Farm Road to Crow Creek and will link the Arp Elementary School and Allison Draw Greenway segments to the rest of the system. Work on that project actually began last year, but was halted by weather in December. The second Greenway project is scheduled for the intersection of Lincolnway and Nationway, and will connect the Greenway to Holliday Park, according to Wiggins. He says two other projects planned for later in the summer will also help connect various sections of the Greenway, with the long-term goal of the Greenway at some point encircling the entire city.
