If you're dreaming of a white Christmas, the odds aren't in your favor. According to data from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, Cheyenne has a 37 percent chance of seeing snow on Dec. 25.

The study analyzed weather patterns in 54 cities across the country. Historically, Denver is three percent more likely than Cheyenne to get snow on Christmas day.

The best place for a white Christmas is Duluth, Minnesota, where the likelihood of snow on Dec. 25 is 92 percent. Bozeman, Montana, ranked second nationwide, with a 76 percent chance for snow.
