Greater Cheyenne Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Dale Steenbergen says he is concerned about over-regulation of business by both local and state government.

He says people need to pay attention to the governmental regulations that effect business and speak out against needless regulation and red tape that often serves no useful purpose. Steenbergen says excessive state regulation is a concern in Wyoming, blaming what he calls a ''bloated bureaucracy" for creating those rules.

.He says government leaders need to consider the impact on business when they create new regulations, adding too many rules and regulations are passed without seriously considering what the impact will be on business and the overall economy.
