State Holds Hearing on Draft Rules for Oil and Gas Servicing

The Wyoming Department of Workforce Services (DWS) Occupational Safety and Health Administration division (OSHA) will hold a public meeting regarding draft rules for Oil and Gas Special Servicing.

According to a release from the Wyoming Department of Workforce Services, the meeting will address updating standards cited in the rules, changes within the industry which would justify a rule revision, the inclusion of hazards related to work in the industry - including silica and combining all common rules relating to oil and gas.

The meeting will be held on June 4th from 1-3 p.m. at Casper College, Wold Physical Science Center, Wheeler Auditorium, Room 103. The meeting is open to the public.
