MOOSE, Wyo. (AP) — Crews are preparing for spring in Grand Teton National Park.

They began clearing snow from the Moose-Wilson Road and Teton Park Road on Monday. The work is expected to take several weeks. The roads should reopen to bikers, hikers and inline skaters in early April and to car traffic on May 1.

Grassy Lake Road in the John D. Rockefeller, Jr. Memorial Parkway is set to close for the season on Thursday evening along with some roads in Yellowstone National Park. Grassy Lake Road will remain closed to cars through May 31 because of spring grizzly bear activity.
