RIVERTON, Wyo. (AP) — The leading cause of infant deaths in Fremont County over the last decade is co-sleeping. Fremont County Public Health Nurse Jamie Cardine tells KCWY-TV that co-sleeping, when an infant sleeps with an adult, can lead to the baby dying from asphyxia. From 1999 to 2010, there were 10 co-sleeping deaths in Fremont County and a four-month old girl died while co-sleeping in November.
