University of Wyoming basketball coach Larry Shyatt says the Cowboys' first-round opponent in the College Basketball Invitational tournament, Texas A&M, may well be the best team in the CBI field.

He notes the Aggies were 16-3 at home this year, including a 7-2 mark against Southeast Conference (SEC) opponents. Overall the Aggies finished 17-15, and were 9th in the SEC, Shyatt says A&M is a rugged defensive team that will give Wyoming all it can handle. Wyoming visits A&M'S home court in College Station, Texas at 6pm (MDT) Wednesday. This will be Wyoming's third consecutive appearance in the CBI.

The College Basketball Invitational is a 16-team tournament that features a best-of-three series between the two finalists starting on March 31.
