There are a lot of clubs and events here in Cheyenne that many of us are a part of. But  there is a club for model train lovers also and you can see them at that mall.

Recently, I my family and I were at the Frontier Mall in Cheyenne and we came across a hand full of guys and a whole bunch of trains and tracks to boot. We were greeted by some local train enthusiasts call The Sherman Hill Model Railroad Club right here in Cheyenne.

The club is a 501(c)(3), which allows people and corporations to donate, and is completely locally operated by train lovers like you. They also meet weekly on Thursdays and hold a business meeting the third Thursday of the month.

If you want to see them in action, head down to the mall, across from the Frontier 9 movies theater, or make plans to attend the Cheyenne Depot where you will see their tracks, trains and other models on display in May for Cheyenne Depot Days.

They invite you and the family to watch their huge train display at the mall, which is FREE for the whole family or visit their website at ShermanHillRails.org. I must add that it is quite an animated and impressive display that you're bound to really enjoy.
