The Seattle City Council is scheduled to consider a resolution on Tuesday opposing the development of coal export terminals in Washington State because of traffic, environmental and health concerns. The issue could impact exports of Wyoming coal to foreign countries, especially in Asia. Amy Richards has details. The U.S. Department of Agriculture will be contacting over 140,000 farmers over the next couple of weeks for surveys dealing with everything from crop acreage to livestock numbers.
