Here we go again! That's right, a new scam is out and about, which you could find in your email box. It looks like it's from Netflix, but be warned because it's not.

Our friends at the financial website ThisIsMoney, has uncovered this scam.

Basically, you'll receive a receipt from Apple showing, what appears to be, a purchase from iTunes or a subscription from Netflix. In order to receive your 'refund', it will take you to a page asking you for your personal and banking information, so they can 'refund' you.

This is a total scam. Just know, that Apple has come out and stated that they will NEVER request your personal information via email.

If you give out your credit card information, the scammers will have access to your credit. However, if you put your debit card information out there, they will be able to access all of your money at one time.

If there is any doubt as whether or not you made a purchase with iTunes or Netflix, ALWAYS go to your account with them and NEVER attempt to check those accounts through a link provided to you via email.
