More and more we're finding that Listeria and Salmonella are invading our food sources, causing more recalls that we would like to see.

Dole Fresh Vegetables is pulling their bagged spinach, due to a possibility of an outbreak of Salmonella. In Michigan, a sample of the Dole Spinach was tested positive for Salmonella.

At this time, it is only the adult spinach leaves and not the baby spinach.

No illnesses have been reported and Wyoming, Nebraska and Colorado have been said to have not received the contaminated product. But we always want the public to be cautious anyway.

If you have any questions concerning any Dole Spinach products you or a love one may have purchased, please call the Dole Food Company Consumer Report Center at 800-356-3111.
