A 60 year old Rock Springs man was killed in a one vehicle rollover Tuesday on Interstate 80 about two miles west of Rock Springs, according to a spokesman for the Wyoming Highway Patrol. Seargent Steve Townsend says William Shaul was eastbound on the interstate when his vehicle drifted off of the roadway and struck a delineator post. Townsend says Shaul's vehicle then turned sharply to the left causing the vehicle to to come back across both eastbound lanes. Shaul then over corrected to the right, crossing the eastbound lanes again. He then over corrected to the left, going off the roadway in a broadside slide and rolling two complete times before coming to rest on it's wheels. Townsend says excessive speed is being investigated as a possible factor in the crash.
