Rick Keslar, a retired Wyoming Department of Transportation employee, says he will run for Laramie County Commissioner again

Keslar, a Republican, recently retired from the Wyoming Department of Transportation, where he worked for 39 years. He says he will bring a strong background in management and customer service to the commission.

Keslar says his goals include, financial accountability; county-wide economic development; quality growth; and improve the working relationship between the County Commission and Cheyenne City Council.

Keslar's family says his family has been in Laramie County for over a century and he was born and raised here. He adds he wants to give back to the community.

Keslar served on the boards of directors for several organizations. He has been heavily involved in Cheyenne Frontier Days for the past 35 years, serving on the General Committee as Ticket Chairman, and was the Buckle Club Board President. He recently completed a 6 year term as a member of the C-F-D Board of Directors. Keslar has also has been on the board of Visit Cheyenne since 2008 and currently serves as Chairman.
