If you’re a fan of buying hummus to dip your chips in or to put on crackers, beware. The FDA has now recalled thousands of cases due to the bacterium Listeria.

The official company name is Sabra Dipping Company, and they are recalling thousands of cases of the ever-popular hummus.

The Food and Drug Administration has issued the warning an recall on the products.

They have stated that the products could possibly have Listeria, a serious infection usually cased by eating food that has been contaminated by Listeria Monocytogenes.

Any product with a “Best Used Before” from now until January 23, 2017 should be thrown out. You should also try and take it back to the store for a refund.
