Public Comment Period for Water Strategy Wraps-Up

Governor Matt Mead said he appreciates all of the people who commented on Wyoming’s Water Strategy. Two months ago the governor released a list of measures that could potentially be included in the Water Strategy. People have been commenting on those measures over the last 60 days.

Governor Mead said “the importance of water to Wyoming’s future cannot be overstated. This Strategy will allow us to be proactive in ensuring a strong future for Wyoming,” Governor Mead thanked all of those who have commented and said his staff will "go to  work  reviewing comments and putting together an effective Strategy.”

He said a final version of the Wyoming Water Strategy will be released in late 2014.
