Beginning March, 15, ‘Project Prom’ will offer free formal dresses to local students. This year, the dresses will be made available at a new downtown location, 113 W.17th Street, Cheyenne, WY 82001.

Project Prom provides formal dresses (at no charge) for local students who might otherwise not be able to purchase a dress. Students must show a valid high school I.D and may only bring one guest.
Donations of gently used/clean gowns are also being accepted. Dress donations can be dropped off at ‘Just Dandy’ clothing store at 212 W. 17th Street, Cheyenne, WY 82001 or ‘Project Prom’s’ new 113 W. 17th Street location. Financial donations are also being accepted.
“We are excited to once again make prom dreams come true for local girls,” said Jean Richardson, ‘Project Prom’ organizer.

‘Project Prom’ is in its eighth year and has provided more than one thousand formal dresses to local students. The non-profit is also accepting new volunteers – please contact Jean Richardson if you would like to take part in this worthwhile project.
