Local and federal agencies are investigating a nonfatal plane crash at the Casper/Natrona County International Airport this morning, according to a news release from the Natrona County Sheriff's Office.

At 8:05 Saturday, agencies responded to the scene of a single-engine Cessna that crashed just after takeoff, according to the news release from Sheriff's Sgt. Aaron Shatto.

There were three passengers and a pilot in the plane who were treated and taken to the Wyoming Medical Center. The occupants were alert and responsive, but did sustain injuries with unknown severity.

The Sheriff's Office, the Natrona County Fire Protection District and the Mills Fire Department responded to the scene to help the airport's safety crews.

The incident will be investigated by the National Transportation Safety Board or the Federal Aviation Administration.
