The 2017 Famous Idaho Potato Bowl is quickly approaching for the Wyoming Cowboys with the game on Friday at 2 p.m.

Wyoming (7-5) takes on a hot Central Michigan (8-4) team that has won five straight coming into the bowl game. Both teams arrived in Boise, ID Monday to continue game preparations.

Mountain West Network host Jesse Kurtz visited with Wyoming Senior Associate Athletics Director and radio color analyst Kevin McKinney to preview the upcoming match-up. They discussed back-to-back bowl appearances for UW, the status of Josh Allen and defenses forcing turnovers to get fans ready for the game.

The Cowboys and Chippewas have played twice before, with each team winning on its home field, but this will be the first meeting since 2002 and also the first at a neutral site.

Kick-off is at 2 p.m. The game is available on KOWB Radio (AM 1290), through KOWB’s online stream or the new KOWB app. Coverage will start at 1 p.m. This game is being televised on ESPN.
