‘Power of Trees’ Tree Planting Saturday

Employees from Cheyenne Light, Fuel and Power as well as volunteers from the Cheyenne Cottonwood Society and the Greater Cheyenne Chamber of Commerce Leadership Cheyenne Class will be celebrating ''The Power of Trees" Saturday.

CLFP spokeswoman Sharon Fain says this year they will be planting trees at the new Cheyenne Boys and Girls Club location at 515  West Jefferson Road, at 9 am.

She says planting the trees is a good way to help the environment as well as enhance the community's appearance. This will mark the 5th year for the ''Power of Trees" planting event in Cheyenne, according to Fain.
