UPDATE 8;12 a.m. Sunday Interstates 80 and 25 are now open across southeast Wyoming, although slick in spots and black ice advisories remain in effect over much of the area, and light trailer advisories are also in effect for same stretches of roadway.

UPDATE:As of 7:40 am Sunday Intestate 25 was open between Cheyenne and the Whitaker road exit (exit 29). However, the eastbound lane of Interstate 80 was closed all the way from Rawlins to Cheyenne,. To access the latest Wyoming road and travel report for southeast Wyoming click HERE.

As of 3 p.m. on Saturday portions of Interstate 25 and Interstate 80 were closed in southeast Wyoming.

According to the  Wyoming Department of Transportation Interstate 25 was closed between Cheyenne and exit 29, Whitaker Road due to winter conditions.

WYDOT also reports the eastbound lane of Interstate 80 also was closed all the way from Laramie to Cheyenne because of a crash. No exact details on the crash were immediately available.

Interstate 80 westbound from Cheyenne to Laramie was open, except for a restriction on light, high profile trailers.

High wind and black ice warnings were also in effect according  to the WYDOT website
