Police Warn of Multi-State Fraud

The Cheyenne Police Department continues to investigate multiple reports of debit card fraud in Cheyenne. Victims of the fraud have not found their ATM cards lost or stolen but are finding unauthorized charges on their accounts. It is believed that suspects are using skimming devices to obtain card information from the victims. The fraud is occurring on a large scale and in multiple states. The multiple cases are under investigation. All reports received by the Cheyenne Police Department are being forwarded to the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
