Police Respond To Child Hit By City Vehicle

A 7 year old child was hit by a City of Cheyenne Parks and recreation van around 8 a.m. today (Thursday) in the 500 block of West Fifth Street, according to a spokesman for the Cheyenne Police Department.

Officer Dan Long says the boy darted into the street between two parked vehicles and says no citations have been issued. The van was being driven by Kaitlin Borm, and the child was rushed to Cheyenne Regional Medical Center where his current condition is unknown.

Long says the incident remains under investigation
