Police Plan Park Presence At Cheyenne Frontier Days 2013

( Courtesy Cheyenne Police Department)

A spokesman for the Cheyenne Police Department says that agency will maintain a strong presence at Frontier Park during CFD 2013.

Officer Dan Long says in addition to directing traffic and conducting patrols in and around the park, there will be plainclothes officers in the park looking for underage drinking.

Local police will also be getting reinforcements from the Casper and Laramie police departments to help with DUI enforcement. Those patrols will take place across the city, however, and will not necessarily be focused on Frontier Park itself.
