A Cheyenne Police Department spokesman says there is nothing to indicate foul play in the death of team roper Broc Cresta, 25, who’s body was found Saturday in his trailer at Frontier Park.

Sgt. Rob Dafoe says investigators will not be able to determine what killed Cresta until results of an autopsy conducted Saturday are available. Dafoe says that will probably take 4-6 weeks. But he says there was no indication of any sort of foul play in the trailer, and at this point police have no reason to suspect the death was a homicide.

Cresta was considered one of the rising stars in his sport , ranked 12th in the world in the world team roping heeling standings at the time of his death.
