Operation Back To School Event Saturday

Operation Back To School is continuing to take donations of school supplies and money for students in Laramie County School District#1.

District spokeswoman Cindy Reynders says backpacks containing school supplies will be given out to students and their families this Saturday (August 16) from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. near the Ampitheater in Lion's Park. She says students wanting one of the backpacks must attend with at least one parent.

Reynders says donations are being taken at Cheyenne Light, Fuel and Power, Element Church, F.E. Warren Air Force Base, Laramie County Community College and Needs Inc.

She also says people can continue to make donations of money or supplies at Needs even after Saturday's event.
