Old Fashioned Melodrama Auditions at Cheyenne’s Atlas Theatre May 11 to 14

Have you ever wanted to be the hero or the villain in the summer Melodrama?

The Cheyenne Little Theatre Players are holding auditions for the Old Fashioned Melodrama at the Atlas Theatre Monday through Thursday, May 11-14.

If you've always wanted to be in the Old Fashioned Melodrama, auditions for the cast are being held on Monday and Tuesday, May 11 and 12, starting at 6:30 p.m. and auditions for Olio Acts will be held at the historic Atlas Theatre on Wednesday and Thursday, May 13 and 14, also at 6:30 p.m.

This summer's Melodrama is titled 'Song of the Lone Prairie or Poem on the Range' and was written by Scott Cherney. Directing the show for 2015 are Cathie Chadwick, Tammy Higgins and Richard Hirsch.

I have enjoyed each season of Melodrama I've been involved in over the years. Even if you don't get a part in the cast or as an Olio act or Can Can Dancer, the Cheyenne Little Theatre Players would still love it if you'd volunteer to help out as a waiter, bartender or usher during the summer season.

The Old Fashioned Melodrama season runs from Thursday, July 9 to Sunday, August 2. Tickets for the performances go on sale Monday, June 1.
