New Smartphone App Offers Info On Child Predators

A spokesman for the Sweetwater County Sheriff's Department is drawing attention to a new smartphone application designed to aid in dealing with child predators.

Dick Blust says the application was created by I.C.E. (immigration customs enforcement) and allows users to get alerts about child predators.

It also allows for the sharing of the information with friends and family through social media and e-mail and for providing information to Homeland Security Investigations via online tips or telephone calls.
