A new board that will focus on preservation efforts in Cheyenne has been formed with a $250,000 donation from Cheyenne Regional Medical Center, according to CRMC spokeswoman Kathy Baker. She says the board is so new that it hasn't been officially named yet. Baker says the donation was made to help with the hospital's remediation efforts in the Lakeview Historic District to make way for a new cancer center the hospital is building.

The four members of the board are Bob Bradshaw, representing the City of Cheyenne; Mary Hopkins, representing the State Historical Society; Don Threewitt, representing the Cheyenne Historic Preservation Board; and Leigh West, representing CRMC.
