Children receiving x-rays at the Cheyenne Children's Clinic now have something to focus on besides their medical treatment.

Kim Birt a radiology technologist at the clinic, says a new mural at the clinic was funded by the Cheyenne Regional Foundation. The jungle-themed artwork was created by Indiana Glenda Knauss, who has been creating such artwork for a decade. Birt says the artwork can be a useful distraction for children and their parents during what is often a stressful situation.

The mural has been in place since May.
