The Laramie County Library will be installing a new machine that will affect the materials being returned to the library.

Library spokeswoman Kasey Storey has released the following statement:

"On November 19th the Laramie County Library will begin installing a new sort machine. The expected completion date for the installation is December 14th. Item returns will be affected by the installation process, and library patrons can expect a few service interruptions. Patrons inside the library will need to manually return all items in the labeled bins near the Cards & Accounts desk; there will be several signs located throughout the building with clear instructions on how and where to return library items.
The item return outside the southwest entrance of the library and the two item returns on the first floor of the library will be out of service during the installation. The drive-up item return will not be affected, and patrons can continue returning items there per usual.

The Laramie County Library will not have the space to accept large book donations during this time and asks that patrons limit any donations to a handful of items until the installation is complete.

More information about service interruptions and the history of our sort machine can be found on our website, https://lclsonline.org. The Laramie County Library appreciates our patron’s patience while we install our new and improved sort machine."
