Spina Bifida can be scary when a parent finds out their child may be born with it. Country music artist Roy Hale knows about this first hand and is raising money for the cause.

Tonight, at the Atlas Theatre, country music artist Roy Hale will bring his voice, guitar and music to the stage as he "plays for a purpose" to help raise money to fight spina bifida.

Spina bifida is a birth defect consisting on an incomplete closing of the backbone and membranes around the spinal cord, when a child is born. Roy was born with this and talked about his challenges growing up as a young boy.

If you want to see a great show and help support a great charity, make your way to the Atlas Theatre on Friday, September 23, 2016. The doors open at 6 p.m. and the show starts at 7 p.m. Tickets are $25 at the door.

Recently, Roy joined Gary Freeman on "KGAB Mornings" and we have a short video of a song Roy wrote, that is sure to touch your heart.
