‘Movies in the Park’ Presents Double Feature Tuesday, August 19

Do you remember Cheyenne's Starlight and Motor-Vu drive-ins?

The City of Cheyenne is hoping to revive memories of summer nights watching movies outdoors under the stars with their Movies in the Park. The series wraps up on Tuesday, August 19, with a free double feature.

Weather interrupted last month's film, so Tuesday there will be two movies shown, 'Despicable Me 2' and 'Man of Steel.' They are projected onto an inflatable screen at Dunbar Field inside the softball diamond near Sloans Lake in Lions Park.

Cheyenne Light, Fuel & Power sponsors the movie series and Kia of Cheyenne provides free popcorn. Other food and beverages are available for purchase and you're allowed to bring your own.

Participants are encouraged to bring blankets, lawn chairs and clothing for changes in the weather.
