Motorcyclist Killed in Collision Near Afton

A 36 year old motorcyclist was killed near Afton Tuesday night while riding a dirt bike with no lights. Wyoming highway patrol spokesman Sgt. Stephen Townsend says the bus was carrying 22 freshman football players and three coaches who were riding the Uinta County School District bus home to Evanston after a game.  Sgt. Townsend says the dirt bike rider, identified as Troy Turner of Afton was killed in the collision. No one on the bus was injured in the crash, which occurred on U.S. Highway 89 about 2 miles south of Afton.
